I was contacted by The Salvation Army in Nottingham who were in need of some promotion for a fund-raising event, a concert being organised in partnership with Nottingham Trent University.
It was requested that photographs of the musicians be used in the publicity. It was also important for the event to appeal to the student community, so I used bright colours and bold shapes to create an eye-catching design. The poster was also adapted into a simple pritned ticket.
The poster was well-received by the client and was displayed throughout the community to attract audience members to this important concert, raising money for student mental health charity Student Minds.
