Harvest is marked every year in schools and churches up and down the UK. Bringing fresh focus on this event can be challenging. The Salvation Army needed a design for posters, donation envelopes and digital resources that brought to life the dual intent of their resources: that Harvest is a time to give thanks, and to give back.
I created a wordmark that introduced arrows pointing both up and down, demonstrating this message in a visual way. This was paired with a background that referenced traditional Harvest imagery, while bringing in vibrant, contemporary colours. Stacked together, the wordmark's arrows could resemble ears of wheat, another common Harvest reference.
A wide range of assets was produced including social media templates, document templates, slide deck designs. Overall, this identity offered a fresh take on a familiar subject.
